Walk the Talk ’09
Four lustrous and lively canines ‘worked it’ at this year’s Discovery 702 Walk the Talk to raise money for The African Commons Project (TACP).
On 26 July, the African Commons Project dogs entered the 5km walk as part of the annual Walk the Talk, a charitable ‘mass walk’ through the suburbs of Joburg, that allows dogs to participate.
These were our canine competitors, who used their online charm, dazzling doggy fashions and riveting public personas, to raise money for the organisation.
We’d like to thank our wonderful sponsors, who are recognised on our Walk the Talk Wall of Fame, who contributed to the core running costs of the African Commons Project, which will help sustain this organisation and its valuable work into 2010.
Until next year then!
